We believe;
that the status quo of governance in the City of Schenectady should change

and that if it doesn't change we face continued decline.

We believe we need a new Mayor and a new City Council.
To that end we seek an alliance of people from all parties to band together to accomplish the change we need.

METROLAND ENDORSEMENT

Schenectady Mayor: Roger Hull (R)

 When Roger Hull was president of Union College for 15 years, there we times when we questioned his commitment to Schenectady.
But Hull’s early support of both Schenectady 2000 and Metroplex signaled a realization that the college’s fate was intertwined with the city’s.
Hull left Union six years ago, but stayed in the Electric City; he’s genuinely engaged with the city and its problems.
We also feel that Schenectady could use a break from Acting Mayor Gary McCarthy
and his self-touted three decades in government and politics.
